Yep, you heard that right.  This is the start of the journey which will take you to the land of Milk and Honey.

Before we embark, let’s take a moment to look around and see where we are now.

According to the 2012 National Financial Literacy Survey:

  • 39% of Americans have credit card debt.
  • 56% don’t have a budget.
  • 40% are saving less than last year.
  • 42% would give themselves a C, D, or F when it comes to their knowledge of personal finances.

The results are clear.  People need help with their money.  The average person is trapped in their failing finances.
